What is the Knowledge Retreat?

An immersive retreat open to individuals and families. Utilizing the beautiful nature of the Vancouver, BC to promote spiritual reflection, building companionship, and enjoying outdoor activities with fellow Muslims from Friday, Sept 13th to Sunday, Sept 15th in Camp Capilano Vancouver, British Columbia.

Each day will generally consist of the following schedules. A more detailed breakdown of the sessions and planned activities will be emailed to the attendees closer to the retreat date, inshAllah!

Frequently Asked Questions
No, the cost covers your accommodations in bunkhouses, meals, activities, use of recreational facilities, and tuition.
We will be expected to depart the camp grounds by 3:00 PM on Sunday, Sept 15th. Attendees will be expected to arrange their own transportation to Vancouver International Airport. Individual rides will not be provided.
The retreat is open to ages 25 and up.
The Knowledge Retreat is designed to cater to the spiritual and intellectual needs of adults ages 25 and up and hence no children are allowed.
You should plan to arrive no later than 2 PM on Friday. Attendees will be expected to arrange their own transportation to the camp site via taxi or Uber. Individual rides will not be provided.

Yes, there is a facility with 20 bunkbeds for women and a separate facility with 20 bunkbeds for men on the same camp ground.
